Now the reason I posted this…the reason I couldn’t get resolution+ to work via HDMI cable was because my sky box had the picture resolution set to 1080. (the tv turns off res+ when it detects HD resolutions). I set the sky’s resolution to auto & now I have res+ working properly via HDMI when not watching HD channels..So no more switching inputs! I have over 300 DVD’s and I do not see Sony making any offers to swap them over to blue-ray for me. The upscaling of both DVD and non-HD satellite pictures is truly amazing.
